STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Residents of a metro Atlanta apartment complex now have electricity after nearly three weeks of an outage.
The outage occurred after an electrical panel failed on Nov. 24. Tenants of the Linden Ridge Apartments told 11Alive that the apartment "left them in the dark" for over two weeks, causing some of them to leave their homes.
On Saturday, a spokesperson from Georgia Power told 11Alive that electricity was restored to residents at the apartment at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12.
