BENGALURU: An SUV belonging to a former Karnataka minister fatally mowed down a 23-year-old factory worker near Magadi, about 55km from Bengaluru, close to Thursday midnight. Family members of the deceased, Rajesh BG, alleged that senior Congress leader HM Revanna's son Shashank was driving the SUV. However, by late Friday, Revanna claimed a family driver, identified as Nagaraj, was at the wheel, and admitted Shashank owned the vehicle. Police said the white Toyota Fortuner — KA-51-MQ-0555 — rammed a gearless scooter near Gudemaranahalli junction around 11.45pm.
