PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Police are investigating after a crash in Plainfield on early Saturday morning.

At around 12:24 a.m. first responders were called to the area of Green Hollow Road and Roper Road after a report of a rollover crash, the Atwood Hose Fire Company said.

Following an investigation, it was revealed that the driver was heading northbound on Green Hollow Road when she suddenly struck a telephone pole, causing it to rollover.

The car ended up going upside down in a shallow ditch off of the right side of the northbound lane.

Officials said the driver was able to get out of the vehicle before first responders arrived.

She suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.

Officials have identified the driver as 27-year-old Hannah Legler of Mossup.
