The Miami Dolphins will have star running back De’Von Achane against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Monday after he suffered a rib injury last week.
Head coach Mike McDaniel cleared Achane from doubt on Saturday, stating the running back has shown more than enough in practice throughout the week to play. He could have gone in during the Dolphins’ last game in an emergency capacity if needed.
Achane was limited throughout the week, giving more reps to Ollie Gordon, who has seen a healthy workload in the Dolphins offense this season.
Achane is the star running back for the Dolphins and the engine of their offense. He has 1034 rushing yards this season, and the Steelers will have to contend with his speed and explosiveness.
“He was hurting, but he was available to come back in the game
