SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A police officer was hospitalized after a crash that closed a Scottsdale intersection on Saturday morning.

Just before 10:30 a.m., a Scottsdale police officer was responding to a call when they were involved in a crash at Osborn Road and Drinkwater Boulevard , according to the department.

While details remain limited, police say both the officer and the other driver were not seriously hurt.

The other driver was checked out at the scene and declined to go to the hospital. The officer was hospitalized with what are believed to be minor injuries.

The intersection will stay closed in all directions for about two hours while investigators work the scene.
