CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Circleville Police handled a busy slate of calls on Thursday, December 11, responding to everything from thefts and traffic stops to harassment reports and a burglary in progress.
The day began just before 1 a.m. with a traffic stop on Georgia Road that resulted in a report being taken. Minutes later, officers responded to a 911 hang-up on Cedar Heights Road, but the caller was gone upon arrival. A second early-morning traffic stop led to an arrest.
Throughout the morning, officers conducted several extra patrols and checked on alarm drops, all of which were found to be okay. A theft report was taken on South Court Street at 8:25 a.m., followed by a burglary-in-progress call on Harrison Street at 9:37 a.m., where officers documented the incident.
