Line of Duty is set to return for its seventh series in the Spring of 2026 - but there is one BBC crime drama viewers are still raving about today. Hidden was released in 2018 and the "slow burning" eight-part series which ran for three seasons until 2022 has been hailed a must watch.

The dark character-driven set in North Wales, focuses on DI Cadi John (played by Sian Reese-Williams) and DS Owen Vaughan (Sion Alun Davies) as they solve complex, often grim crimes, with the killer revealed quite early on in the show.

The BBC crime drama has been dubbed a "true masterpiece" as audience reviewers have given it an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score of 83%.
