A HOUSEBUILDER has donated 170 items of warm clothing to support people facing homelessness.

Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire donated 170 winter essentials to Darlington’s 700 Club, including socks, scarves, gloves, and hats.

Chris Butler, from Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: "700 Club provides vital services and support to homeless people in and around Darlington, and we hope that our donation will go some way in providing comfort to those without a home this Christmas."

The homebuilder also gave £500 to the charity’s Christmas Shopping Experience, which helps families in need buy important items during the festive season.
