A sexual predator has been convicted after raping, abducting, grooming and attacking young girls. Rapist Kassam Hussain was found guilty of nine offences. The Birmingham attacker raped one girl, abducted another and attacked a third victim. Hussain was unanimously found guilty of the offences following a two-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday, December 4. Hussain raped a teenage girl in September 2024 before grooming and sexually assaulting another teenage girl in the same month. He then abducted her in 2025.
Speaking after the case, Det Con Sarah Toye, from West Midlands Police's Central Complex Child Public Protection Unit, commended their "bravery in being able to speak out." She said: "This has been a complex investigation into the abuse of young girls who were groomed
