A 16-year-oldmale from Highland Park was charged Saturday with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy from Detroit, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.

The 16-year-old was remanded to Wayne County's juvenile detention facility after a preliminary hearing on Saturday, according to a press release from the prosecutor's office.
