FARGO — Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel of North Dakota has made a "pay it forward" beer with a Fargo brewery.

The Minot native announced Friday, Dec. 13, that he partnered with Bell Bank and Drekker Brewing Co. to make an India pale ale called Rough Cut. Proceeds from the IPA will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, he said in a Facebook post.

Duhamel has a Detroit Lakes-area cabin and previously raised money for the Boys and Girls Club. The actor also is a brand ambassador for Bell Bank, which is headquartered in downtown Fargo.

Bell Bank also partnered with Chris Hawkey, a singer and radio host in Minnesota, to make Mic Czech pilsner, according to a news release from the bank. For every pint sold of the two beers, $2 will go to Duhamal’s or Hawkey’s charity
