OMAHA, NE — After building its lead up to 20 early in the second half, Kansas State basketball held off Creighton's comeback attempt to come away with its first road win of the season.
Kansas State emerged with an 83-76 win over Creighton at the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, on the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 13.
Creighton brought the game within three with 2:41 left, but it didn't get any closer. Late-game heroics from David Castillo helped the Wildcats (7-4) escape disaster against the Bluejays.
