LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is dead after a shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers responded to a call at 3:02 p.m. of a shooting in the 1500 block of South 10th Street on Saturday, Dec. 13.

At the scene, police found a man believed to be in his thirties in the backseat of a car who had been shot several times.

Despite attempts at life-saving treatment, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information has been released at this time.
