HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Winter came back in full force today with frigid temperatures and light snow for much of the area. Snow accumulations remained fairly light with many locations receiving around 0.5 inches, and some up to 1 inch. Temperatures have fallen into the single digits and teens for many as well, and will drop even more providing a bitter start tomorrow morning.
Tonight/Tomorrow: Temperatures tonight fall near to below zero across much of northern and northeastern Nebraska. Single digits likely for much of the rest of the area with a few low teens across southwestern Nebraska. Wind chills near or below zero are likely for many as well. Skies clear out into tomorrow afternoon with breezy winds around 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures warm into the mid to upper 20’s across the easter
