HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Three Hartford teenagers were arrested Tuesday after police recovered a stolen car and loaded gun during a proactive patrol operation.

Members of the Greater Hartford Regional Auto Theft Task Force were conducting a proactive patrol when they observed an occupied, suspected stolen Hyundai Tucson parked next to another stolen motor vehicle in the area of 161 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Detectives converged on the car, at which point the occupants fled on foot, police said. All individuals were quickly apprehended without incident. A loaded firearm was located inside the vehicle.
