LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — For one Pine Bluff woman, Saturday marked the culmination of a lifelong dream.
Graduation day means a lot to everyone in the room, but for one graduate from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, it may have meant just a little more.
“I grew up in Clarksdale, Mississippi,” April Muhammad said, “And that's the Delta. So, in that area, there are very few resources.”
Muhammad always dreamed of more, being drawn to the practice of law from a young age.
However, early on in life, she took on the task of raising eight wonderful children with her husband, Cedric, in Pine Bluff.
“He had two children. I had three. We came together and had three more,” Muhammad said. “So that made eight. It was a real “Yours, Mine and Ours” story.”
