A new-look Edmonton Oilers scored a convincing Hockey Night in Canada victory Saturday in Toronto.

It was a lightening fast opening first, the Oilers opening the scoring, but the Maple Leafs tying it before both clubs headed to the room after twenty.

Toronto opened a 2-1 lead early in the second. An Oilers Power Play resulted in 6 shots, but they could not find the equalizer. But Edmonton would score on two other opportunities for a 3-2 lead after 40.

And the Oilers dominated the third, chasing the Leaf’s starter in the process.

Make the final 6-3, after the Leaf’s scored in garbage time.
