Tens of thousands more drivers have been caught speeding on the M6 in the West Midlands this year.

There are certain locations on the motorway where average speed cameras are operating and waiting to punish rule-breakers.

Every year these catch out thousands of drivers going too fast.

It's common to see drivers going over the 70mph motorway national speed limit, perhaps in the belief they are unlikely ever to be caught.
