It was a big night in Wyoming on Saturday as the Cowboys hosted a top-ranked college wrestling team for only the second time ever. But Penn State made sure it was not a big night for Wyoming as the Nittany Lions swept through the first eight bouts and recorded a 40-7 victory.
The win was the fourth of the season for Penn State and the program’s 75 th straight. The Nittany Lions can break Oklahoma State’s decades-old record of 76 straight next Saturday at the Journeymen Collegiate Duals in Nashville with anticipated wins over North Dakota State (5 p.m) and Stanford (7 p.m.)
