CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois' left tackle J.C. Davis is declaring for the NFL draft and will opt out of the Music City Bowl.
Davis becomes the second Illini player to declare for the draft after Gabe Jacas declared Friday.
Last week Davis received a First Team All-Big Ten selection from the league coaches and he was also voted first team by the AP and second team by the media.
Davis ended his career with Illinois with 49 consecutive college games.
