At 8:09 p.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until Sunday at 10 a.m. for Benton County Lowlands, Linn County Lowlands and Lane County Lowlands.
The weather service states to be ready for, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," comments the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility conditions."
