Reggaeton music icon Daddy Yankee has recently filed a federal lawsuit that claims his ex-wife and former manager schemed to steal his songwriting royalties.

Daddy Yankee, whose real name is Ramon Luis Ayala Rodriguez, filed a lawsuit under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, accusing his former spouse, Mireddys Gonzalez, and manager, Raphy Pina.

The Latin music superstar alleges Gonzalez and Pina orchestrated a coordinated effort to fraudulently divert publishing income from some of his most successful records, according to Billboard .
