NJ.com’s Wrestler of the Year was at it again on Saturday at the Ironman Tournament at Ohio’s Walsh Jesuit High School.

Delbarton senior 165-pounder Jayden James led three New Jersey finalists with a championship at the prestigious two-day event in the Buckeye State. James defeated McCort (PA) phenom Melvin Miller in sudden victory, 8-5, for his title.

The Westwood native and Penn State commit pinned and teched his way into the finals before his signature win over the Virginia Tech pledge.

Miller and James rank as two of the best pound-for-pound wrestlers in the country. Coming in the weekend, Miller was No. 3 on FloWrestling and No. 4 on MatScouts while James ranked No. 4 on FloWrestling and No. 5 on MatScouts.
