The 29th Kabaddi Tournament, organised by the Baidwan Kabaddi Club in memory of Jathedar Hanuman Singh, attracted huge crowds on Saturday on the second day of kabaddi and other traditional games at Sohana, Mohali.

One of the major highlights of the event was the bullock cart races held at Saras Mela ground in Sector 88. A total of 200 bulls participated in 100 high-octane races, thrilling huge crowds of spectators at the venue.

According to the organisers, the joint bullock cart of Jaggi Bhamian and Beant Maherna clinched the top prize by completing the 1,000-foot track in an impressive 20.19 seconds, winning a Hero Honda motorcycle in the main race. Sukhpal Reli’s bullock cart secured the second position and won Rs 21,000, while Giani Lang’s bullock cart finished third, bagging Rs 15,00
