The ink is dry, and 16-year-old defender Brandon Dayes is officially a professional. Louisville City FC has signed Dayes to his first pro contract, marking a major milestone in a career that’s quickly gaining momentum.
“Yeah, I mean some nerves, but I think more excitement,” Dayes said. “I’m just really excited to start this new journey. It’s going to be a lot of work. It’s not going to be easy, but I’m really excited for what the future holds.”
