Brody Hallik scored a career-high 34 points, fueling Morris Knolls’ 71-41 victory over West Caldwell Tech in Rockaway.
Hallik, a senior, added eight rebounds for Morris Knolls (1-0), which led 35-27 at halftime, then used a 28-12 third quarter to break the game wide open.
Andi Boljevic had nine points and Timmy Plumb added eight with four steals in the win.
Naquan Copeland paced West Caldwell Tech (0-1) with 17 points.
