It's fair to say that pantomimes hit you on a different level as an adult. As we sat surrounded by families at the Floral Pavilion, the glamorous Fairy Snowfall delivers a risqué double entendre that sails straight over the heads of the children in the audience.

But from the giggles of the mums and dads in the theatre, it's clear it's landed well with its intended audience - as all good innuendo should. And so begins our trip through the dark yet magical world of Sleeping Beauty, this year's pantomime from the powerhouse of pantos, UK Productions.

There's a great cast, fronted by former Eternal star Kelle Bryan as the aforementioned Fairy, backed by CBBC star Cleo Demetriou as Princess Ros
