Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Jordan on December 15 for a two-day visit as India and Jordan mark 75 years of diplomatic relations. This will be a historic visit, as it is the first full bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Jordan in this millennium.
According to India’s Ambassador to Jordan, Manish Chauhan, the visit is taking place at a very important time for both countries and the region. The Prime Minister is visiting Jordan at the invitation of King Abdullah II. PM Modi had last visited Jordan in 2018, but that was only a transit visit.
