At 50 years of age, Lane Kiffin has more entertaining stories to tell about his coaching career than most people who spent five decades in the profession.
His first head coaching opportunity came as a shocking development at age 31 when legendary owner Al Davis tabbed him as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders in 2007 despite the fact Kiffin had never risen above the role of offensive coordinator on the college level.
From there on out, each of Kiffin’s coaching stops have provided plenty of wild moments.
