WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews are working to put out a fire in Waterbury on Sunday morning.
A fire broke out at a scrap yard on East Aurora Street and crews were able to extinguish the fire.
Ordinarily it wouldn’t have been much of a problem, but it highlights one of the many challenges from this ongoing water outage.
The biggest impact is that boil water advisory still effect this morning for the entire city.
10 truckloads of water are on the way from Pennsylvania.
The mayor said that water will be given out starting at 9 a.m. this morning.
There are two distribution sites, Municipal Stadium and Crosby High School.
This is impacting virtually every aspect of life here in Waterbury.
