STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Senior Adem Djonbalic led a balanced attack with 18 points and Susan Wagner built a first-quarter lead and gradually pulled away for a 61-50 non-league victory over visiting St. Rose (N.J.) on Saturday in Sea View.

In addition to Djonbalic, who drained four three-pointers, Darin Humes-James (13 points), Charles Gambino (10 points), Clevi Hoxha (10 points) and Chris Albano (eight points) also contributed offensively for the Falcons.

SW snapped a two-game losing streak to improve to 7-2 overall.

Tyler Cameron (21 points) paced St. Rose, which is coached by Staten Island resident Chris Alesi.
