Liverpool made it back-to-back wins and extended their unbeaten run to five matches as a week dominated by the fallout from Mohamed Salah ’s comments about Arne Slot and the club ended on a positive note. Hugo Ekitike’s brace earned the Reds a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
But unsurprisingly, much of the attention was on Salah after he was recalled to the Liverpool squad after being dropped for the midweek victory over Inter Milan.
