Mohamed Salah once again grabbed headlines following Liverpool 's 2-0 victory over Brighton on Saturday. After a week filled with intense speculation about his future, the Egyptian came on as a substitute in the first half to set up Hugo Ekitike's second goal against the Seagulls.
Last weekend, Salah stirred up a storm at Elland Road by telling reporters he felt "thrown under the bus" by the club and no longer had a relationship with manager Arne Slot after an unprecedented string of games out of the starting line-up.
The 33-year-old, who only signed a new two-year contract with the Reds in April, was then omitted from the midweek squad to face Inter Milan, before being reinstated this weekend
