Per a report from Larry Lage of the Associated Press, “the firm hired by Michigan to search for a football coach to replace Sherrone Moore has contacted representatives for Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham and Missouri’s Eli Drinkwitz.“
Lage said that the person spoke anonymously due to not being authorized to speak about Michigan’s coaching search. • Drinkwitz, 42, recently inked a contract extension running through 2031 and paying him $10.75 million annually after going 8-4 this season. • Dillingham, 35, won a Big 12 Championship last season and led ASU to the College Football Playoff and is reportedly working on an extension with the Sun Devils.
It remains to be seen the seriousness or substance of the conversations Michigan’s search firm had with the reps of Drinkwitz and Dilling
