Maggie Simpson is breaking her silence.

The latest episode of "The Simpsons," airing Dec. 14, will be a rare one to feature the family's youngest child Maggie speaking in complete sentences, and she'll be voiced by none other than Lindsay Lohan.

Lohan took to Instagram to share a preview clip from the new episode, which will involve a flash-forward where the Simpsons children have gotten older.

In the clip, Maggie becomes concerned after her brother Bart says he will be driving to school. While Marge initially tries to stop Maggie from speaking because she's "still getting over that laryngitis," she soon talks anyway.

"Please, don't let Bart drive," she says. "It's too scary. He drives so wiggly, and everybody honks at us and yells bad words and shows us fingers!"

According to Fox, the new "Simpsons" episode, titled "Parahormonal Activity," is set "in the near future," as Marge is "competently coping with the hormonal onslaught hitting her now teenage kids when she's suddenly struck by a big life change of her own, leaving Homer as the last sane person in the house… or is he?"

Maggie Simpson is traditionally too young to talk on "The Simpsons," though the character has spoken sporadically in various episodes, including in dream sequences and Halloween specials.

Perhaps most memorably, a Season 4 episode, "Lisa's First Word," featured Maggie saying "daddy" with no one around to hear her, ironically just after Homer told her, "I hope you never say a word." Elizabeth Taylor provided the voice of Maggie for the 1992 episode.

Another instance of Maggie speaking was in 2007's "The Simpsons Movie," which ended with the baby asking, "Sequel?"

Numerous guest stars have lent their voice to Maggie, including Carol Kane, Jodie Foster and even James Earl Jones. Viola Davis also voiced Maggie earlier this season in the annual Halloween special.

While teasing her "Simpsons" voiceover, Lohan, who is coming off her leading role in the Disney sequel "Freakier Friday," wrote that it was "a dream come true to be part of this iconic family."
