TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Hundreds of families gathered at the North Florida Fairgrounds Sunday for a holiday event focused on giving back to the community. The Less Fortunate Still Matters Foundation hosted its 12th annual toy drive, providing gifts to children and families ahead of the holiday season.
The foundation works year-round in low-income neighborhoods, offering support and essentials to those in need. Founder Timothy Mosley said the annual toy drive is designed to ensure children have gifts to open during the holidays. This year, the foundation distributed about 4,500 items.
Families received toys, clothing, books and bicycles during the event, which drew long lines of attendees throughout the morning.
