NEW DELHI: As the world moves towards AI-led transformation across industries, govt and the broader society, India has been ranked third in ‘AI Vibrancy’ index in a study conducted by Stanford University. The US and China lead the pack. The 2025 version of Stanford’s ‘Global AI Vibrancy Tool’ works with data coverage through 2024 across a set of parameters, which measure the preparedness of countries when it comes to AI. The framework comprises seven pillars of AI vibrancy: Research and development, responsible AI, economy; talent, policy and governance, public opinion, and infrastructure.
