The iconic Illinois home featured in the 1990 holiday hit flick “Home Alone” is heading back to the future — with a makeover that restored it to movie-fame condition, ABC7 Eyewitness News reported.

The spacious, red-brick Colonial in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka, where Kevin McCallister was once forgotten and left to fend fore himself in the popular film, underwent an interior renovation and was sold earlier this year in pristine shape, the outlet reported.
