COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KFDA) - The West Texas A&M Buffs and Lady Buffs opened their indoor track and field season with multiple top-five finishes at the two-day Colorado Running Company Pre-Company Invite in Colorado.

Esther Conde-Turpin led the Lady Buffs with wins in both the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles (8.26 seconds). She broke a school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.66 seconds and also tied for fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.62 meters.

Leidy Cuesta placed first in the triple jump, reaching 12.4 meters and setting a new personal record.

Mara Andritsch placed third (3,436 points) in the pentathlon, the highest among Division II athletes, while teammate Kailee Benton finished fifth (3,368 points).
