Pleasant, fall-like temperatures will continue Thursday thanks to a cold front ushering in a drop in humidity and a taste of early autumn.

Thursday: More clouds but still comfortable. Highs in the lower 80s.

Friday: More clouds and a stray shower. Highs in the low to mid 80s.

Saturday: An area of low pressure glides to our south, providing us with the chance for some late-day showers. Highs only reach the mid-70s to low 80s.

Fall lovers, this is your time to shine, according to WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell. This year, we get an early feel of fall, but the weather will warm back up at some point, so enjoy it while you can.

So far, there are no 90-degree days in the forecast for the Triangle. We've only hit 90 degrees once in August - the first time that has happened at this point
