MERRIMAC, Wis. (WKOW)— A weather-related incident has led to the closure of the Merrimac ferry on Saturday.

This closure affects all lanes in both directions on Wisconsin Highway 113 at Palisade Street.

The incident occurred at 4:54 p.m., and the closure is expected to last more than two hours.

The Merrimac Ferry Staff is handling the situation.

Travelers are advised to seek alternate routes while the ferry remains closed due to weather conditions.
