VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — When you think of Virginia Wesleyan’s softball success this season, it’s easy to point to their explosive offense. But make no mistake—their foundation has been built on the strength of the pitching circle.
At 46-3-1, the Marlins are back in the NCAA Division III College World Series, powered by a deep and dynamic pitching staff that spans all classes. From freshman standout Hannah Hearl to seasoned senior Lauren Bible, Julia Piotrowski, Abigail Jones, the team has a wealth of talent along with lefty Emma Adams. They all say they push each other.

Virginia Wesleyan will take the field at noon on Thursday in Bloomington, Il
