JUNE 14 ‘No Kings’ National Day of Action comes to Nags Head

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, residents of Dare County will join thousands of Americans across the country in a unified call to defend democracy as part of the nationwide NO KINGS Day of Action. The event, hosted locally by the Dare County Democratic Party, Indivisible OBX, and Dare County NC Women Forward, will feature a march and protest beginning at 9:30 AM at Dowdy Park in Nags Head.

The schedule includes:

9:30 AM: Sign waving and gathering at Dowdy Park

10:30 AM: Sign waving or march north with signs and flags

11:30 AM: Return to Dowdy Park

12:30 PM : Protest ends

Participants are encouraged to bring American flags and handmade signs that reflect values of democracy, freedom,
