The City of Kingston has been awarded a $477,000 Restore New York Communities Initiative grant to support the transformation of a long-abandoned building at 289 Foxhall Avenue. The funding, provided by Empire State Development, will aid Headstone Gallery in rehabilitating the property into a vibrant arts facility offering studio rentals, administrative offices for local arts organizations, and opportunities for youth employment and apprenticeships. The project also includes landscaped parking areas to complement planned street redesigns and improve the corridor’s visual appeal.
