After every victory, the LSU Tigers take a team photo.

Daniel Dickinson wants THE photo.

Instead of a stereotypical boozy senior trip at the end of his high school days, Dickinson went to Omaha, Nebraska.

“I was on a travel ball team with the same kids since I was a freshman in high school,” the LSU second baseman said. “We played in a tournament that was in the area, so we stayed 10 minutes away (from the ballpark). I actually went to Game 1 of the national championship between Ole Miss and Oklahoma (in 2022).”

While there, Dickinson and his mother Sharee, who moved down from Washington state to live in an Airbnb this season while her son played for the Tigers, took a photo in front of the big bronze sculpture outside of Charles Schwab Field Omaha. The one called “The Road to Omaha.”
