Another food truck event set for downtown Lincoln has been canceled due to vendors backing out.

The Wild Wednesday food truck gathering at the city's food truck zone at Seventh and K streets set for 11 a.m. will no longer take place "due to vendor cancellations," the city said in a Monday news release.

The Wild Wednesday food truck series takes place every other Wednesday through Oct. 15. The next one will be Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. until vendors sell out.

This is the second time in less than a week the city has had to cancel a food truck event because of vendors backing out.

The city also canceled its Downtown Dinners food truck event last Thursday. The next and final Downtown Dinners event is set to take place at the food truck zone Oct. 2 from 4:30-8 p.m.
