Canada's Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre secured a return to parliament after winning more than 80 percent support in a by-election held in a heavily right-wing district, official results showed Tuesday.
The result, four months after Poilievre lost his seat in a humiliating general election defeat, sets him up to reclaim his role as opposition leader in parliament, where he will confront Prime Minister Mark Carney.
