MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEVV) — The Madisonville City Council approved a new ordinance aimed at maintaining properties within the city.
The ordinance will establish a Code Enforcement Board to address homes that are not up to code or homeowners who have failed to maintain their property.
Residents will receive a notice of violation and will have a set amount of time to address the issue.
All city council members voted in favor of the ordinance.
