FARGO — A popular celebration of culture, music and community is back. The All-African Festival North Dakota, now in its second year, will once again fill Broadway Square with food, dance, games and opportunities to meet neighbors from other parts of the world.
“This is more than just a festival,” Executive Director Olasunkanmi Olanrewaju said. “It’s about strengthening our ties with the global community, fostering understanding and celebrating African heritage right here in North Dakota and Minnesota.”
The festival opened Aug. 16 with the Africa Sport Festival at Ed Clapp School Park in Fargo.
