OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Reports of funnel clouds have been coming in from the Metro and surrounding areas. A report from Bellevue and another one from Pacific Junction, IA have come in to First Alert 6 this evening.

This is a picture from a viewer in Pacific Junction. You can see the funnel cloud stretching down from the clouds. These are called ‘cold air funnels’ and are typically very weak and unlikely to reach the ground. This is the case tonight.

Showers will remain in the metro through about 7PM and funnel clouds will be possible through this timeframe.
